Thomas W. Livingston and Karel F. Wessel founded their business on Adeline and Ashby, Berkeley, California in 1977. They are members of the Antique Dealers Association of California, the American Decorative Arts Forum of Northern California, and they are also among the original exhibitors of the San Francisco Fall Antiques Show. Livingston is most interested and most knowledgeable about 18th and 19th Century period American and English furniture. "When I buy a piece," Livingston continues, "I ask myself 'would I put it in my own home." Wessel concentrates on Continental antiques and is especially interested in Delftware, a specialty of the shop. In 1989 they moved from Berkeley to Jackson Street in San Francisco until 2009.
